Enviroflo Engineering Retrofit Pulse Jet Filter
Aggregate Industries recently approached Enviroflo Engineering with a view to replacing an old reverse air filter serving their Marini M121 Asphalt Plant at Croy Quarry in Kilsyth. Following a site survey Enviroflo determined that although the body of the filter and the ductwork system was severely corroded, the existing hopper was basically sound.
Enviroflo designed a pulse jet filter body to retrofit onto the existing hopper, retaining the existing materials handling systems. The filter was designed for a gas flow of up to 59,500 m3/h at temperatures up to 185 oC.
The installation also included a replacement skimmer, ductwork, a containerised air compressor and a new control panel.
